Over fifty percent of jobs in federal organizations and ministries in the United Arab Emirates are occupied by women. Over 5600 women work for just the government. Universities in the United Arab Emirates have high female attendance rates. Eighty percent of the education workforce is made up of women as well. Mona Al Marri, the Chairperson of Dubai Women Establishment, says that their programs help women contribute to society and to personal development.
